MR Guest Editor Shortlisted for the IPA Prix Voltaire
Michel Moushabeck, publisher of Interlink Books, shortlisted for the International Publisher's Association Freedom to Publish prize, the Prix Voltaire.
We here at the Mass Review are thrilled to announce that Michel Moushabeck, longtime friend of the magazine and guest editor of The View from Gaza issue, has been shortlisted for the International Publisher’s Association’s 2025 Freedom to Publish, or Prix Voltaire.
From the IPA: “Michel S. Moushabeck is a writer, editor, translator, publisher, and musician of Palestinian descent. The founder of Interlink Publishing, he has devoted his life to publishing and amplifying marginalized and underrepresented voices with the aim of furthering the cultural understanding of their lived experiences. Each year Interlink Publishing publishes one humanitarian book and donates profits to a worthy cause.”
We are honored to have worked with Michel and to have featured his music ensemble, Layaali, at our Gaza issue launch event. Check it out here:
